The churchyards of all our churches are open for burials. Your funeral director will make the necessary arrangements.

Alternatively, you may wish to arrange a cremation. These are usually at Distington or Barrow in Furness, and may be preceded by a funeral service in church. Again, your funeral director will advise.

Bootle and Whicham churchyards both have areas reserved for the interment of ashes.
